Blue Line Academy provides specialized training for law enforcement, corrections, and prosecutorial professionals with a focus on the investigation of criminal gangs and other organized crime groups. All classes are taught by a subject-matter expert and are designed to provide accurate, up-to-date, and useful training for every level of the law enforcement community.

Street Crime, Narcotics Enforcement and the Law (1 Day Class)

The events of recent years have left the law enforcement community in a state of uncertainty. Concerns over possible criminal and civil liability have left the hard-working men and women behind the badge hesitant to be proactive in their efforts to combat street crime. But the unprecedented rise in violent crime across the country, coupled with the surge in illegal street drug activity and gang violence, have made proactive law enforcement more important than ever.

This course will prepare personnel who work patrol, street crime, directed enforcement, and other such assignments by giving them an understanding of practical and effective approaches to street crime and high-crime area enforcement operations. Students of this course will learn:

Relevant case law governing consensual contacts, reasonable suspicion, probable cause, and more.
Proactive field enforcement considerations and strategies
Violence, drug, and gang suppression strategies
The impact of proper, effective articulation

This course is a must for any member of the law enforcement community who wish to enhance their skills, effectiveness, and safety while combatting violent crime.
